It’s that time again! The Tuesday Chat with Cat returns! : )

Today was a wonderful day, not only did we get busy office stuff done, we had a photo shoot for a local business and a newborn session! I love the precious little newborns and the sweet, sweet parents that we get to work with! So much fun : )

Reminder: If you haven’t scheduled your Easter Mini-Mini Session yet, now is the time!! We want to work with YOU so call and book your time slot now!! 325-437-7700

If you keep up with Lindsey on Facebook or Instagram, you may have noticed that we had a gorgeous destination wedding this past weekend in JAMAICA! (If you don’t follow us on Facebook or Instagram, what’s up with that, mon?!?! Links to both pages can be found at the top of this page!) Stay tuned to the blog as we have a post planned for later this week that talks more about the trip and a minor mishap that made the trip a bit more interesting…

Sooo…. I may have yet another a GIVEAWAY!!!

This giveaway is for a Mommy + Me session! Since Mother’s day is coming up (May 8th, mark your calendars!), we decided that this is the time to start scheduling these types of sessions and hey, why not give one away while we’re at it!! : ) It’s super easy to enter to win this FREE session, and for each of the following that you complete, your name will be entered into the drawing once! 1. My little bubba is 2 and is a crazy ball of energy. I love the way he rough houses with dada, but knows I am the one that cuddles and plays the best pretend.

  2. I love how one moment they seem like little adults, so grown and mature, then in the next breath, you are reminded how little and dependent they are. God has such an awesome way of giving us a perfect mixture as they grow.

    1. So fun watching them grow! They want to be so big and independent, but their hearts are still so young and sweet 🙂

  5. My kiddos are just fun! Every age, I think–this is my favorite age! I’ve thought that with each of the 3 boys, 17y, 10y, and 8y. Watching their minds work, figuring things out, becoming who they are becoming–it keeps me on my toes for sure at times, but is so amazing to watch. And it makes me a better person.

  6. Being a mom with older girls, you get to appreciate how the circle comes back around and your girls start ENJOYING hanging out together and going fun places together. It’s so wonderful!

  7. I am a mom to a 25 week preemie and boy is it different than what everyone said it would be. Hitting milestone is a different reality for me because crawling or waving bye-bye means he has the ability to walk or to understand. The unknown of a critical baby is heart breaking but yet so rewarding. I never take for granted the simple little things he does, for at one point in time, we didn’t know if he would ever reach it. Children are such a gift from God!

And Trent has developed the funniest personality and says the most hilarious things! I treasure the pictures Lindsey took of him and hope to have some of Quinn also!

  12. I adore being a mom. It’s all I ever wanted to be. And even though my babies are 13 and 10 (gasp) they will always be my babies. I love watching them grow and learn and maneuver through life. They are my heart.

  14. As patience testing as it is sometimes. There is nothing that I love more than being a mom to my sweet twin boys. I love our little conversations and the funny stuff they say and come up with. Their imaginations never seize to amaze me. My favorite is watching them interact with each other and how very different they are yet how similar. I love the twin bond

  15. I’m gonna throw out my wife and 2 boys names for this. 1, because you are an amazing photographer and I know that my wife would love to have pictures made with you especially if it includes her little boys. My oldest is almost 4 and my youngest just turned 2 and they are the epitome of momma’s boys. I absolutely love to watch them all play together and grow and learn together. I know this would be the perfect gift for her this year on Mother’s Day.

  16. Uhhhh this would be amazing! Been dying to get some good pics of me and my kiddos! Honestly, being a mom has been the toughest thing I’ve ever done…ever! But watching their little personalities grow and seeing how much they love Jesus is just about the BEST thing ever! Seriously though, the most valuable thing I’ve gleaned from motherhood is how much God loves us. Cuz it’s ever MORE than we love our own kiddos! and that’s crazy love!!!

  18. My purpose in life has been revealed in a 3 week old precious little angel. I thought my life was everything I wanted until the second I laid eyes on her. My world was turned upside down and I have enjoyed every second… Well, almost every second. 😉 We are all still alive and healthy, so I consider that a mom win! She has been a blessing to us in her 3 short weeks on this earth and I will try my hardest to raise her into a Godly woman that is appreciative of her blessings and shares her talents with the world.

  19. The best part of being a mom is how your heart has the ability to expand to love each child. After my first being an only child for 9 years I couldn’t comprehend how I could possibly have the same bond. That is until that moment I first laid eyes on her and held her. It makes this Mother’s Day just a little more special. I’m always the one taking the pics so I’m never in them. I want a pic that my kids can look back on and see how much their mom loved them!
